The code was copied & pasted from: and it worked like a charm. My everyday sketches live elsewhere, in: /home/username/Arduino Step 1 – hook up just TMP102 with Arduino, run an example code and see if it works.įrom TMP102 into Arduino Uno as follows: VCC –> 3.3V GND –> GND SDA –> A4 SCL –> A5 ADD0 –> GND (a redundancy, changing placement of ADD0 wire changes I2C address) In this case, the SI1145 library and the RTC library had to be moved. A quick note on Arduino libraries in mint: Libraries that will be used by more than one arduino sketch need to go in: /home/username/Desktop/arduino-1.8.1/hardware/arduino/avr/libraries otherwise the operating system can’t find them, and yells at you. I’m using Arduino IDE 1.8.1 on Linux mint 18.1. DS1307 Real Time Clock module (I2C address: 0圆8).TMP102 temperature sensor (I2C address: 0x48 with ADD0 pin connect to GND).SI1145 UV/IR/Visible light sensor (I2C address: 7 bit, 0圆0).Arduino Uno (or an identical Sparkfun RedBoard).I will include a Real Time Clock for accurate time stamps and an OpenLog with a microSD card to record the data. The plan: Use several sensors hooked up to an Arduino Uno.
